Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 17: Rakesh Sinha, Member Rajya Sabha and noted political thinker said that it was unthinkable that pluralism would ever return to Kashmir unless displaced people from Kashmir are resettled in the valley with full guarantees. Sinha emphasized that present Government was committed in this direction.
Sinha said this while speaking at a function here today in Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (SSK) on the occasion of Sharda Ashtami, the foundation day of SSK.
Prof Sinha emphasized the need for unity of Hindus adding that it was paramount for the safety of the country.
Lambasting those who raise hue and cry about Article 370 and 35A, Sinha warned those opposing its dissolution that the climate against these Articles has matured and soon time will come when these anti- democratic Articles will be abrogated.
Sinha further said that the society needs to produce Shiva jis, Maharana Pratap, Chander Gupt Maurya so that a new rejuvenation takes place among Hindus. He raised the pertinent question about the demographic engineering being done in various parts of the country to make Hindus a minority.
Sinha further expressed hope that Hindus from the state can visit the temple of Goddess Sharda in Pak occupied Kashmir.
On the occasion eminent writer Prof R L Shant was given the Sharda Puraskaar for his pre eminent services to Hindi literature. Pradeep Kaul read the citation detailing the significant contributions of Prof Shant to literature.
