He said the war was not against the policemen, but the militants were being pushed to take extreme steps. "The next time we abduct their kin, they should know we can't keep them for long. And they know we have only one way of punishment," Naikoo said It means that wards of policemen were abducted to force the police to release Naikoo's father. Also it meant that wards of policemen do not join the police and avoid facing the wrath of militants otherwise more policemen and their stations will come under attack They (militants) knew that police were after them and some of them could be killed for abductions. |
