Workers allege sweepers administrating MR vaccination to children

JAMMu, Sept 25: Dharna of Female Multipurpose Health Workers entered into 30th day today and they alleged that despite repeated attempts nothing has been done so far by the concerned authority.
The MR Vaccine programme started from 24-09-2018 in the field without deputing trained health staff. It is also come to notice with proof that in block Marh Tara Chand part time sweeper are giving the injection of MR vaccine and also reported that outsider untrained staff are deputed in this programme for injecting MR vaccine.
It is also come to our notice that some children's are referred to SMGS and Medical College, Hospitals referred due to some problems after giving the MR Vaccine by untrained staff.
Injecting of MR vaccine procedure is 45% degree angle sub quotations but some untrained staff are giving injection of MR 90 degree intramuscular i.e wrong root for injecting MR Vaccine. This MR vaccine campaign will be continue for one month.
The Jammu Kashmir FMPHWs again appeal to the higher authority to solve the burning demands so that the trained staff is ready have to participate in this MR Vaccine programme accordingly after resolve the demands and save the life of children. The Prominent who took part in the rally included Neelam Kumari, Surya Akhter, Sapna Gupta General Secretary, Mamta Devi, Sunita Devi, Jagjeet Kour, Nirmal Kour, Varinder Kour, Jagbir Kour, Manjeet kour, Pooja Devi, Shashi Bala, Kamlesh, Jeevan Jyoti and others.
