JKIM holds convention, highlights people's woes

POONCH, Oct 14: Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement (JKIM) today held a convention at Fatehpur to highlight the public grievances like erratic water supply, lack of road connectivity from Sathra to Fatehpur, scam in NFSA ration cards.
Speaking on the occasion locals said, if government failed to sanction Sathra motorable bridge and Sathra to Fatehpur road at earliest the people of five panchayats will boycott the next parliamentary and assembly elections. They demanded throrough investigation of Dhara-Fatehpur WSS project which is defunct despite investing crores. Speakers said government has failed in all fronts to provide basic facilities of health, water and power besides proper road connectivity to the different areas. They especially demanded two transformers for ward number 2 and Mohalla Loharan (Danna). Those who were present on the occasion were ex-sarpanch Haji Sain Mohd, Khalid Kirmani, Basharat Hussain, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohd Farooq, Rafiq Reshi, Tasveen Ahmed, Chowkidar Mohd Sadeeq and others.
