| Locals, students demand repair of Kund Rassain school building | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 14: Local villagers and students of Govt High School Kund (Rassain) have demanded repair of the school building. The locals and the students registered protest today to press the demand.
They alleged that there was no repair of school building undertaken for the past four years and the students were feeling unsafe. The building has already been sanctioned under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) 2014 and tender already issued.
The locals said that the students face problems on rainy days. The matter, they said, was taken up with the concerned repeatedly without results.
They also demanded shifting of Secondary School Examination centre (SSE) from at High School Dhanas in Chenani Zone saying the students had to walk about 35 kms on foot through dense forests and there is likelihood of attack by wild animals. |
