| Happy Model shines in postal department competition | | | Early times report
Udhampur, Oct 14: Suriyansh Parihar Simran katoch & Shrishti of Happy Model school clinched first and second position in letter writing and quiz competition held by postal department.
Quiz and letter competition were organised by postal department in connection with two Days long Philately exhibition .
The two days philately exhibition organized by Postal Department Udhampur was thrown open to public at Happy Model Higher Secondary School, on Saturday which concludes here today
Director Postal Services (J&K) Gaurav Srivastav was the chief guest while SSP Rayees Mohammed Bhat was the guest of honour on the occasion.
While addressing the students, the chief guest said that the main objective of organizing this exhibition is to create awareness among the students about the importance of post office and postal stamps. During the two day exhibition he said that various activities for children have been arranged by the postal department like letter writing competition, Stamp design competition, Quiz competition and philately workshop. Shrishti of Happy Model bag first in letter writing while suriyansh and simran katoch of same school baged second in quiz competition. |
