KATRA, Oct 14: An impressive 'Prabhat Pheri 'was taken out on the 5th day of Navratra Festival here today from Bus Stand.
Hundreds of devotees from Katra and outside state joined the 'Prabhat Pheri' .The devotees were singing Bhajans and dancing on the tunes of drums enroute the Prabhat Pheri. The local people in their areas welcomed and greeted the Prabhat Pheri Committee members.
Earlier chief guest, Ashok Choudhary SDM Katra flagged off the Prabhat Pheri in presence of senior citizen Babu Ram Dubey.
Maharashtrian devotees under the leadership of Neelkhand Shinde, who also participated in the Prabhat Pheri were honoured by SDM Choudhary.
Groups of Regional Outreach Bureau comprising of Rajsthan, Gujarat and J&K devotees participated in large numbers under the leadership of Durga Parshad. |
