| IT raids MG enterprises, Rashtriya Industry, Janta industry in Jammu, Samba | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 16 : In a major crack down on income tax offenders, the Income Tax Department today on the directions of GST Commissioner Government of India today raided various business establishments in Jammu and Samba areas.
According to sources in the Income Tax Department, the GST Commissioner (Investigation Wing) Government of India gave details to the officials of Jammu regarding fudging and concealing of information and accordingly various teams were constituted for raiding various business establishments in Jammu and Samba areas.
As per reports, a team headed by Assistant Commissioner Income Tax, Ruveda Salaam raided business establishment namely MG enterprises, Rashtriya Industry and Janta industry in Jammu's Babliana and Satwari areas.
Meanwhile, Laxshmi stone crusher owned by R K Kapoor in Samba and another unit in Raya was also raided and incriminating documents were confiscated.
Sources said that the teams scrutinized transactions and other documents while the teams also seized some documents with them for detailed scrutiny.
When last reports came in, raids of the department were going on. |
