Early Times Report

Poonch, Oct 16: Most of the nallahs in Mendhar witness people crossing through them from one side to another as no bridges have been constructed over them for the convince of general public and as a result people have to face lots of problems when these nallahs begin our flowing particularly during inclement weather sources said here today.
They said two nallahs join Mendhar town near Sangla chowk which flows from Gajna Pahadi and Dargaloon respectively and form a shape of river. But authorities have failed to construct a bridge over as people of one side of the river remain cut off from the other side of it.
On the one side of river there are several educational institutions tuitions including Jammu Gosia Academy Muqqadas Degree College besides other habitations while on the other side there is Nari Niketan School situated. When it rains or any other weather related developments take place the nallah over flows and both the sides of it remain cut off for longer times. While talking to Early Times the inmates of Nari Niketan said that they have to wait for days unless the water level receeds in the nallah and to go across it same was the opinion of the people living other side of the nallah.
