| DSEJ withdraws DDO powers of ZEO Ramnagar, teachers hail action | | | Early Times Repott
RAMNAGAR, Oct 18: Acting on some complaints, Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) withdrawn the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) powers of Zone Ramnagar from Principal Higher Secondary School (HSS) Ramnagar through a written order DSEJ/GAZ/50266-70. It is pertinent to mention here that the teachers of zone Ramnagar had held a day long protest in the month of July at CEO office Udhampur against the alleged autocratic behaviour of DDO Zone Ramnagar, Rashpaul Singh Chauhan.
Several complaints were reported against DDO for using foul language against his subordinates. A few teachers of the zone alleged that they were getting harassed for the past five months and experiencing several days of delay in issuance of their salary.
They hailed the Director School Education Jammu for approving their long pending demand while also appealed to the higher authorities of the department to initiate a enquiry against the former DDO for his misconduct with the teachers of the zone. |
