POONCH, Oct 18: Demanding construction of walkway upto their locality, the inhabitants of Kamsar today staged a strong protest demonstration and blocked the nearby road for three hours. The agitated residents of Mohalla Kamsar during their protest burnt tyres and raised slogans against the authorities concerned. People of the area said that they are deprived of a proper walkway stretch towards their locality due to which more than 5,000 people face difficulty on daily basis. They demanded that the authorities should construct immediate walkway so that people's miseries can be minimized. Later, Tehsildar Haveli Shezad Latief Khan, DySP Headquarters Nawaz Khanday and SHO Anzar Mir reached the spot and assured them that their grievance will be addressed at the earliest. |
