7th annual conference enters second day

Jammu, Oct 20: The 7th Annual Conference of JK Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India entered into second day where in lot of deliberations were done between the invited Guest Faculty and the delegates on various "Surgico-Ethical Issue in 21st Century".
The proceedings of the conference were conducted under the supervision of Chairman Organizing Committee, Prof. N.C. Digra (HOD Surgery).
A guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Dilip Gode (President of ASI) on "Ethics & Surgery", followed by a lecture by another Guest Faculty Padam Shree Awardee Dr. P. Raghu Ram on 'Benign Breast Diseases". Similarly Dr. Rajinder Parsad from AIIMS delivered Guest Lecture on "Laparoscopic Management of Achlasia Cardia". There were two Orations in the prelaunch session in the name of Prof. Mehmooda Khan delivered by Prof. Nisar A Chowdri from SKIMS and another in the name of Dr. K.C. Sharma delivered by Prof. B.S. Pathania.
In the post lunch session there were panel discussions on "Ca Breast", Ca Gall Bladder and Guest lectures on various laparoscopic innovations. Eminent Faculty that participated in discussions was Prof. H.L.Goswami, Prof. Gurjit Singh, Prof Nisar A Wani, Dr. B.A. Makdoomi and others.
