Dogra College organizes induction ceremony

Jammu, Oct 20: Dogra College of Education organized induction ceremony to welcome the new entrants who have joined the college for the session 2018-20.
The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries followed by the Saraswati Vandana presented by the students of B.Ed Course, Semester - III.
While welcoming the Chief Guest Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education appraised the gathering about the achievements of the students who have brought laurels to the college. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman Dogra Educational Trust was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education also welcomed the students and gave a detailed information about the college achievements and also shared the information pertaining to academic rules and regulations of the college. Badges were presented to the elected Class Representatives of semester 1st and Oath was taken by the students and conveners of various committees.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Prof V.P. Magotra, Principal Dogra Law College, Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College and staff members of the college.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Indu Puri, Sr. Lecturer of the college followed by the National Anthem.
