| Members of Rehri, Khokha union pay tribute to Amritsar tragedy victims | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 20: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP along with All J&K Rehri, Khokha And Phari Trade Union members offered prayers at a Shardanjali meet organized at Transport Yard Narwal, Jammu. During the prayer he prays to the Almighty God that the innocent souls who were killed in an accident at Amritsar may rest in peace. He further said that due to ignorance and negligence of Govt. and also the Railway Authorities such a mishappening was happened. It is very unfortunate that on one side the Govt. is talking about the introduction of Bullet Train, but fails to maintain the security arrangements at open the railway tracks. Also it is not possible to understand how the Govt. has given the permission to celebrations of Dusshehra festival at a place near railway track, without adopting the proper arrangements of security. He demanded that the people who were responsible for such a huge loss of innocent lives should be punished and the aggrieved person must be compensated. |
