Prof Ashok Aima, IG Jammu flag of Coaches for USA Supported Leadership Through Sports Prorgamme

JAMMU, Oct 20: Prof Ashok Aima VC Central University of Jammu and IGP Jammu flagged of Coaches from J&K (Jammu Segment) for a week long Leadership Through Sports Programme at New Delhi. The Programme is a Initiative of Central University of Jammu which has through a project in Joint Collaboration with University of Ball, USA organised the Sports Programme being funded Department of State USA.
In all 20 coaches from J&K, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh , half of which are women shall be attending the Program at Delhi that Commences on 22nd of October.
Ranjeet Kalra, Co-chairman of the Central University of Jammu Sports Advisory committee while welcoming the Guests highlighted the various aims and objectives of the Sports Leadership Program.
Prof Ashok Aima while thanking the University of Ball, Muncie,USA and US State Department hoped that the Programme would be of immense help to the Coaches from J&K and shall intimately benefit the players.
Dr SD Singh ,IGP Jammu ,in his address to the participating coaches termed the Programme a golden opportunity as it would not only enhance their sporting acumen but also give them an opportunity to learn newer skills to train the specially abled players. He appreciated the efforts of VC CUJ Prof Aims and Co. Chairman Ranjeet Kalra and the CUJ team for taking a lead in Augmenting competitive sports culture in the State.
Aman Sharma, Senior coach and Offical of SAI who has been designated as Leader of the Group also spoke on the occasion and Thanked CUJ VC for providing this opportunity to the coaches.
