Kulgam, Oct 21: A blast near the encounter site in Laroo Village of Kulgam District has killed at least three civilians and injured many people, who thronged the encounter site once forces concluded the operation.
Forces have killed three militants in a gunfight this morning and concluded the operation at around 11 am.
Witnessed said as soon the gunfight ended and govt forces withdrew from the area, local residents thronged the encounter site.
They said people were sprinkling water on the debris of the house when an explosive device went up.
"Three civilians have been killed and dozens are injured," they said.
Injured people have been taken to hospital for treatment. |
