Police recovered stolen bike, arrested thieves

SAMBA, Oct 23: Police recovered stolen bike and also arrested the bike lifters here today.
According to the report, yesterday a written complaint was received at Police Station Samba from one Nikka Ram, son of Sagar Chand of Samla regarding missing of his bike bearing Registration No JK21-6468 from Samba area. Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No. 280/2018 U/S 379RPC was registered at Police Station Samba and search was started to trace out the missing bike. Acting on specific information, a police party of Police Station Samba raided the spot at Manohar Gopala area of Samba and recovered the stolen bike from the accused persons identified as Raju Mohd, son of Mohd Shafi and Makhan Din, son of Gagru Din, both residents of Chak Manga Gujjran, Samba. Both the accused persons were arrested and further investigation was going on.
