JAMMU, Oct 23: The recent CBI's corruption related exposures and ongoing tug of war between its top commanders, certainly have removed the curtains from our so-called system, said Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), J&K. Exposed name of Gujarat cadre officer's appointment as CBI joint Director and his link with Gujarat massacre related clean chit to then Chief Minister and now Prime Minister has raised multiple questions before a common man who still had a faith on our country's top institutions, it added.
During old British rule, police was true subordinate before the civil administration and the results were quite fruitful but on the contrary, degraded face of our democracy appeared in the shape of sub-standard faces' lot as rulers who had/have projected an unwanted face of police causing an unwanted unrest almost everywhere, expressed by Deep Singh the national council member-AAP. Unfortunately, now the police is being used as tool of our rulers for achieving personal benefits while terrorizing the poor and gentle citizens, he added.
We have no hesitation to say that this unwanted culture was firstly introduced by Congress and now being promoted by BJP & its allies, he alleged. |
