Jammu, Oct 23: Co- Curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum of JP World School, Jammu, the Elocution Contest was organized by the school for its primary students. It was aimed to develop communication skills and promote critical thinking among the students. The first round was conducted in each class wherein the students were shortlisted for the final Round. The students were given topics Swacch Bharat and 'Non- Violence' on which they were asked to present their views within the given time limit. They displayed confidence, enthusiasm and alertness while participating in the competition. Shehzan, Mehak, Arhaan, Aitsham, Rishika and Jazza were among the winners. While speaking at the moment Principal J.S Hundal said that by participating in such contests students learn the skills of combining eloquent language with equally eloquent delivery which is basic purpose of the education. |
