Teaching of English need at glance

English has a special and predominant role in the communication sphere of the world. It has also a special identity in the field of education, and English speaking is now the most basic demand in every field that is why everyone wants to speak English but finds difficult to do so.
Surprisingly, majority of the educated people don't even know how to speak English as well as the proper pronunciation of the words. No wonder, this all is happening due to lack of English language teaching classes/courses in our educational system. As we know, communication is the only way to transfer the knowledge and if we are not able to communicate our knowledge then surely our good grades or results can yield to worst. In this article I will be writing some of the reasons why English language teaching is important and what is needed to be done for improving English teaching skills.
n TRAINEES OF ROTE-MEMORIZATION
First of all, there is a need to know the root cause of this problem. In the present scenario most of the students are reading, writing by just mugging up everything. Hence, in the end of this they will undoubtedly get the good grades but excellence? Nil! Ironically, we are just manufacturing the muggers and good memorizers. Therefore, we need to change the system, i.e., basic education system and should give a serious GLANCE over at English teaching. Now-a-days, Rote-memorization/ Rote learning has become the base to every student. Did you notice that all the subjects are followed by English language but the question is how English language has been taught to us? Not in an appropriate manner? Right? We lack in FLUENCY, VOCABULARY, PRONUNCIATION and what not. So, this gravely needs a reform to educate the students in a real sense. The whole basic education is of waste even if a single student also fails to deliver a proper statement in English. It's totally flabbergasted to see students learning the same grammar what they learn in the primary level and still they do not know how to imply that in every sentence they speak. So, where is the progress when even after that there is no fruitful result of learning English? What good are exams if they are just to check what a student has filled on the paper?
No matter what, English is still the universal language and it should be taught in a practical manner. For English subject, exams should be based on communication skills for building the confidence and developing the student's ability. Facetiously, such students might make their teachers and parents happy by scoring top in the exams but what about the future which lies ahead of them? What if they won't be able to face the interview confidently and might not express themselves just because of the poor command of English speaking ability and in the end there views, thoughts, opinions are left behind as an imagination? Facing interview itself is not the problem for them but poor English speaking stop them to come forward and make them anxiously shy to speak out their minds.
Therefore, our system should not put a lot of pressure on grades only and less on communication skills. Because at the hour of need, not only the good grades but also the fearless expression of one's point of view with the help of better English speaking skills will help the students in every sphere of their career and life indeed. All we need is a little change in teaching methods of English in our schools and then there will be no need of thousands of English coaching centres in our state who are looting the students by luring them on the name of English. But for this, at the same time there is a great urge for good English teachers too. Teachers must know their responsibilities and the main objectives of teaching English and should help the students in their personality development. The Educational system solemnly look forward for educating students in such a devoting manner which prepares them to face all the challenges of their future and outer world of career. All the institutions must be put into light that what the education is for, the purpose, the need and start preparing students to face the world in real sense. Just remember, what we give is what we get, so, there is a dire need of English speaking classes in every school apart from teaching English as a subject, i.e., a class which covers written and spoken aspects of English language correctly with the help of well trained teachers. English teaching really needs a serious glance of our educational system and it must be taught uprightly as a language also but not only as a subject.
