JAMMU, Nov 13: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Taekwondo Association organized Interschool Taekwondo Championship at Sai Palace, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. A total of 225 students from, various schools of Jammu province participated in the Championship. Students of DRS Kids Trikuta Naga. The Roots Montessori House, Aglow Kids, DRS Kids Talab Tillo, DRS Sainik Colony Chowadhi, M.V. International School, Delhi Public School, Cinosural International Elementary School were awarded. 225 students took part in the championship and 110 students were awarded by Anil Nanda, General Secretary.
On the occasion Harsh Devi Singh, Ex Education Minister was the Chief Guest and Guests of honour K.C. Mehta Principal Army Public School Akhnoor and Kundan Lal Dogra M.V International School, J.S. Dhami Principal Heritage Public School, Shiv Kumar Jolly BJP Leader.
They distributed prizes among those who qualified. Ronika Nanda Treasurer Association J&K Neha Chauhan, Ankur Sharma were present in the function. Sunny Nanda, General Secretary Speed Ball Association and Sahil Janjua were the present.
Anil Nanda, General Secretary J&K Sports Taekwondo Association while addressing the gathering said that the students won the Gold Medal would be provided an opportunity to participate in the National Championship going to be held from December 2018. |
