Kathua, Nov 13: The District Administration Kathua started tournament for all age groups under Central Sponsored Scheme Sports for Peace and Development a vertical to Khelo India of block Hiranagar under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Kathua. Rohit Khajuria here at Sports Stadium Hiranagar.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sub Division Magistrate Hiranagar Suresh Kumar (KAS) in the presence of Tehsildar Hiranagar Avtar Singh, Assistant organising secretary Yog Raj Sharma (ZPEOHiranagar). District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Sunil Kumar is organising Secretary of the tournament.
A total of 241 boys and girls of block Hiranagar participated in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, volleyball in the age group of under 17 years, under 19 years and above 19 years.m Today's matches were officiated, under convenership of Lecturer in Physical Education Shashi Bhushan, by technical panel Comprises Avnesh kumar, uttam singh, joginder kumar khajuria, sartaj singh, sunita sharma, sheshna kumari, kunti devi, omkar nath, naresh kumar, karan singh, ram ratan, pramod kumar, rakesh kumar. Meanwhile unique Model School Chadwal win in under 19 boys Kabaddi, Government Higher Secondary School Mangloor in under 19 boys Kho Kho and under 19 girls Kabaddi and Government Higher Secondary School Hiranagar register win in under 19 girls kho kho. |
