JAMMU, Nov 15: Janta Dal United (JDU) led by its state President G M Shaheen and Jammu Provincial President Nigesh Samral today inaugurated its new party office at 474/A, Last Morh near Laxmi Narayanan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Shaheen while addressing the media appreciated the role of Governor in conducting ULB polls in a transparent manner. He further said these elections will not boost the general population but to give them their fundamental right for development of the state as well. He added that these elections will also helping the nation as well as the state of J&K to bring peaceful atmosphere which it had in the state before 1990.
Earlier, in the morning, Shaheen along with other party leaders visited the Jagti Kashmiri Pandit Township Nagrota to take stock of issues and problems being faced by the migrant community who are still deprived of their basic facilities including fundamental rights since turmoil.
He assured the KP community to take up the issues with Governor SP Malik tomorrow.
