| Salal selected as 'Best Rated Power Station' of the year | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 15: Salal Power Station has been selected as the 'Best Rated Power Station' among all the power stations of NHPC Limited for the year 2017-18.
According to press release, the award was given away by R.K.Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New & Renewable Energy at Faridabad.
The award scheme has been launched for encouraging the Power Stations to compete for better operational efficiency. The selection of the Power Station for the award is based on many parameters like all round performance covering main aspects like Generation, Technical Inspection, Auxiliary Consumption etc.
These parameters are well reflected in highest 'Station of the Day' cumulative count in a year provided that the Power Station has achieved the yearly cumulative PAF upto NANAPAF as fixed by CERC. |
