| NCC Cadets of GGM Science College visit Old Age Home | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: A group of 35 NCC Girl Cadets (Senior Wing) of 2 J&K Girls Bn NCC along with the students of BCA IIIrd Semester from the Department of Computer Science of the college today visited the old age home in Amphalla along with Associate NCC officer Dr. (Capt) Anjana Sharma of the college. The cadets and the students were motivated by worthy principal Dr. Satinder Singh to work on this noble cause. The purpose of this visit was to inculcate in today's young generation a sense of responsibility and human feeling for the aged citizens of our society. The NCC cadets and students of the college also presented a cultural bouquet of various items like instrumental, dances etc. to make the elders happy and joyful. Principal Dr Satinder Singh and Prof. Anjana Sharma, motivated the cadets and students to inculcate in them the basic culture and values of Indian society to respect the elders. Capt. (Dr.) Anjana Sharma gave a speech to make the elders understand that while cursing bad moments of our life, we forget to appreciate all the good things which we already have. So live in present as it is the only moment available to us and it is the door to all the moments. |
