| CBOA organizes CANPAL Cricket Cup | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: Canara Bank Officers Association JK region organized a CANPAL Cricket Cup match today at Green Field Gandhi Nagar Ground.
The purpose of conducting the match was to ease the overburdened/stressed bankers for a healthy supportive atmosphere. The Teams were a mixed group of male and female officers of Canara Bank in Jammu region. Team Red Captain Jatinder Kumar won the Toss and elected to bat first and scored 104 runs in 20 overs which the Team Blue chased down in 17 overs with the loss of 1 wicket only. Govind from Team Blue scored 48 runs and was declared Man of the Match while Miss Ila Gupta who took an impressive hat-trick was declared as the Women of the Match while Ajay Kumar and Miss Ila Gupta shared the maximum wicket taker award. Mayor of the city Chander Mohan Gupta presented the awards to the award winners and winning trophy to the winning captain Pankaj Choudhary and he also presented runner's up trophy to the team Red Captain Jatinder Kumar.
