J&K Ranji team bundled out for 95 runs

Jammu, Nov 28: Jammu and Kashmir Ranji team were bundled out for the score of mere 95 on the first day of the Elite Group C match against team Services at Delhi cricket ground.
J&K won the toss and elected to bat first but had the poor start to the innings, when last match century scorer Ahmed Banday’s wicket was taken by Diwesh Pathania in the fourth over of the match for just two runs.
The wicket of Ahmed Banday was followed by the golden duck of Ian Dev Singh by the same bowler. Shubam Khajuria was the lone hitter of the match. In his inning of 44, Shubam hit six 4s and 2 sixes. Shubam and Irfan Path had the only big partnership of the match. Both the players took the scoring board from 6 for 2 to 58 for 3.
Once the Shubam’s wicker perished wickets started tumbling one after another. Captain of Jammu and Kashmir team Parveez Rasool could not troubled scoreboard that much and fell to Arun Bamal for 11 runs with two boundaries. Out of the 11 players of Jammu and Kashmir team, only four players managed to score run in double figures. Rest of the players scored 2, 0, 4, and 5,4,1,0. Team Service cruised to the total of Jammu and Kashmir Ranji without losing any wicket. It was late in the last session when captain Rasool picked back to back three wickets in six overs with team Services ending the day one of the Elite Group C matches with 131 for the loss of three wickets.
