| Overall development of all 3 regions of state main agenda of Congress : Dr Manohar Lal | | | Early Times Report
Billawar, Jan 20: Former Minister & Senior congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma while addressing series of public Meetings at lodnu,panchayat Kishanpur, block billawar gave patient hearing to public grievances and also today urged voters of remotely backward area to vote in large numbers to remove BJP out of power in upcoming elections both at state & centre level. During the meeting people showed there serious resentment against present BJP MLA & MP of the area for total neglecting their area. They said in last 4 years neither local MLA nor MP visited them and not even a single development work was started in their area. They made main demand of link road between lodnu to kapla and streamline the system of drinking water facility.
People also hailed Dr Sharma and said that during his tenure there area was given status of Backward area and also lot of CDF were issued which helped in setting up of transformers and water pumps in their area but in last 4 years no development work took place in their area. Dr Sharma while redressing public said that their resentment against present MLA & MP is totally genuine and said that many far flung hilly areas has been neglected by present MLA from billawar assembly area.
He further said main agenda of Congress party is overall development of all the 3 regions of the state and also to maintain communal peace, harmony and brotherhood among the people of the state . |
