Mehbooba ignores Lal Ded hospital incident, gives priority to her divisive agenda in press conference

Early Times Report

Srinagar, Jan 20: Duplicity, hypocrisy and insensitivity of former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti towards women was exposed this evening when she did not uttered even a single word about Suraiya, who was forced by doctors to give birth to her child on the road.
Mehbooba's priority was land grabbers who have encroached state land in different parts of Jammu city but she failed to demand a probe on the inhuman incident.
According to report of national news agency, husband of the helpless woman was humiliated by the doctors and called him as Gujjar. "Doctor Shouted At Me, Called Me Gujjar, Says Man Whose Wife Gave Birth On Road In J&K", national news agency reported today.
According to the family, the woman, Suraiya had developed complication on Thursday in her village Moori, which is in Kalaroos, close to the Line of Control in Kupwara district.
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti called a press conference this evening at Srinagar, most of the journalists were expecting that she will speak about the incident wherein a woman was forced to deliver birth to her baby on roads. But PDP president's priority was to pursue communal agenda in Jammu by lending support to land grabbers of the particular community in Jammu district. As a cosmetic exercise Mehbooba Mufti had issued a statement yesterday in which she mentioned, "Heart wrenching that a pregnant woman was turned away from a hospital which ironically is named after the great Kashmiri mystic saint Lal Ded .
She later gave birth to a still born in frigid temperatures. Cannot even begin to fathom the pain & trauma the parents must feel". But in today's press conference her priority was to protect land grabbers.
