BJP dividing society for electoral gains: Bhardwaj
1/20/2019 11:52:41 PM
Early Times Report

BISHNAH, Jan 20: Senior Congress leader and member AICC MK Bhardwaj has cautioned the people to remain vigilant against nefarious designs of BJP to polarise and divide the society in all possible ways, for narrow electoral benefits.
Addressing an impressive gathering of people from all sections of the society here on Sunday, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP strategists were working overtime to devise this divisive policy as the Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections draw nearer. "I appeal to you to remain vigilant against such evil designs of the BJP leaders which they are harping on to divert attention from their failures to fulfil promises made to the people. You must question them when they come to seek your votes as to what happened to the promises made by Centre and BJP-PDP state governments. Total neglect of border areas both in terms of scurity and development, is a glaring example of BJP's failure on all fronts despite being in power both at the Centre and in the state," he added.
Bhardwaj said that on the contrary Congress has a proven track record of working for the well being of all sections of the society particularly poor, weaker sections and underprivileged. "Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi is committed to further pursue this policy after people vote us back to power," he assured. "Where are the safe zones including schools and plots and where are the health care facilities particularly that needed during emergencies," he asked adding "To the contrary the government has done nothing to ensure uninterrupted water, power and ration supply through PDS system, to these areas. As a result the people are neither getting these essentials and in the absence of water and power supply have not been able to carry out their agricultural activities." Ashok Sharma, former MLA, Ashok Dubey, Arun Sharma, member PCC and others spoke on the occasion.
