Session on 'Doing Your Best' Held in DPS Nagbani

Jammu, Feb 1: A session on 'Doing Your Best' was held in DPS Nagbani and the session was organized to develop the skills of the students at an early age so that it should help them to evolve as skilled and trained citizens to work in any field of life.
The session was conducted by Komal Mengi in which the students from VI to IX were told about the main ideas for 'Doing Your Best' in attaining the desired goals with the help of concentration, focus and determination. Some light was thrown on the objectives of Doing Your Best, which is to identify your goals, to explore the ways you can attain to reach your goals and to understand your limitations.
Komal gave examples of some sports persons like P.T Usha, Sania Mirza and Sachin Tendulkar who have become symbols of achievement in their respective sport. Their journey was not an easy one. They worked hard to become the best. They practiced for hours and sacrificed many things in their life in order to achieve goals.
In the questionnaire session, she asked the students to analyze themselves by making a list of their strengths and weaknesses and the things they want to accomplish before the end of this year. She then asked them to identify the things needed by them to achieve their goals. She concluded the session by saying that for success, attitude is equally important as ability. We must also appreciate others who help us in achieving our goals.
In the end, the Principal of the school R. K. Verma said that we should always do our best. No one is perfect and we should take what we have and continue to work hard till we achieve the results. It can provide us confidence which is needed to keep going on. So one should give best and let thier footprints be distinctive.
