Jammu, Feb 1: In a surprising act, DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana assigned the additional charge of block Drabshala to BDO Nagsini Parveen Kumar who also holds the charge of Block Dachhan in addition to his own duties. Pertinently the concerned BDO was under scanner for massive embezzlements in terms of fraudulent withdrawal of CDF in Marwah, Dachhan, material cost under MGNREGA, purchase of tree guards for which he was even suspended, but was rescued later with the interference of former Minister in erstwhile PDP-BJP Government.
Reports said despite allegations of fraud and embezzlement, the proofs of the same which were also available with "Early Times", DC Kishtwar who also remain ACD Kishtwar instated of initiating inquiry against him has blessed him with additional charge of block Drabshala that falls vacant with the change of department of incumbent BDO Drabshala under KAS rotational policy.
Officials sources inform that the influential BDO had remained posted in almost all major blocks of Kishtwar constituency including Padder, Nagsini, Palmar, Dachhan, Marwah and now has entered in Drabshala block of Inderwal constituency with the help of his master who is in no way authorized to assign additional charge to any officer in Rural Development Department while at the same time ignore the Jr KAS officers like BDO Kishtwar, BDO Padder and BDO Inderwal and thus raise the eyebrows among the corruption watch dogs who are demanding immediate action against the erring officials involved in corrupt practices. |
