National Exhibition of Paintings by JKCCA concluded at Goa

Jammu, Feb 7: National Exhibition of Paintings by Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu in collaboration with Studio Akshay, a leading NGO of Pune (Maharashtra) concluded at Kala Academy, Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Campal Panji, Goa. A valedictory ceremony was organized where Javed Beg, Director, National Council of Antarctica and Ocean Research, Goa was the chief guest. Speaking on this occasion O P Sharma said that the show has been a success at Goa. The show could project the art of artists from different parts of the country to the people of Goa and the visitors. The paintings of T S Batra, Jang S. Verman, O P Sharma, Aslam Naqshbandi, veteran and senior artists and young artist Shivani Bhat Koul of J&K state, V S Rahi, Dr. A K Dixit and B Sireesha, New Delhi, Jayprakash Jagtap, Ramesh Bhosale, Prakash Barude ana Vijay Bhosale, Maharashtra, K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma, Ravinder Dhillon and Mala Chawla, Punjab, Sikha Nandan, West Bengal, Veenita Chandvankar and Hitesh Pankar, Goa and Pratima Singh, Uttar Pradesh were displayed in the show. Speaking on this occasion Javed Beg appreciated the creativity of the artists of the country and the organizers for putting up a nice show at Goa. The exhibition was created by O P Sharma, well known artist & Director Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts, Jammu. Ramesh Bhosale, veteran artist & President Sudio Akshay, Pune coordinated the event.
