Udhampur, Feb 9: J&K SC, ST OBC Development Corporation Udhampur on Saturday organized Awareness Camp at Rathian to aware and sensitize the unemployed youth of other backward classes regarding various schemes of the corporation, continuing its drive for providing employment avenues to the unemployed youth of the District.
On the occasion District Manager of the Corporation, C.L Verma, District Officer Tilak Raj, Sarpanch and Panches and various prospective beneficiaries and stakeholders were present in event.
At the outset C.L. Verma gave a detailed presentation on the various schemes of the corporation like Bank tie-up scheme and Direct Financing Scheme. He stressed upon the unemployed youth to avail the benefits of the schemes by establishing their own ventures to eradicate the menace of the unemployment.
While appreciating efforts of J&K SC, ST OBC Dev. Corporation Udhampur, Sarpanch Rethian Dewan Singh described Schemes of the corporation as most beneficial Scheme for the unemployed youth. He said such awareness camps greatly help in guiding the youth towards earning income through self-employment ventures which they can establish under various schemes. He said that aim of this kind of programme should be to take it to logical end which will give benefits to the youth. Further, during the Awareness programme many queries were raised by the participants and they were assured that they will get full support from the Corporation. |
