| MLC Arora contributes Rs 20 Lakhs for GMC Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25: Ramesh Arora MLC today visited Government Medical College Jammu and emergency of the Hospital. After seeing the deficiency of Ventilators in emergency, he met with Principal of GMC, Jammu Dr. Sunanda Raina and handed over a letter for purchase of portable ventilators. He contributed Rs 20 lacs out of his CD Fund and assured for more contribution. At the same time he appealed to other Legislatures to visit Hospital and contribute more because better facilities for public is prime object although it is a minor contribution but it reflects his generousness. Principal Dr. Sunanda Raina expressed thank to MLC Arora and hope supports from others also. She said Ramesh Arora is the first MLC who has contributed out of his CDF and said that if other persons also follow him it will be helpful because there is always a limitation of funds although she said, she has already put a proposal about requirement of the ventilators before the State Govt. and she is hopeful that she will get amount released as early as possible. Arora said that it is our moral duty and responsibility to provide our better services, better facilities, and better contribution for the society.
He visited GMC number of times and realized there is huge demand & requirement of equipments, infrastructure, medicines and other facilities in GMC and other subordinate hospitals. He assured that he try his level best to contribute from his side timely and accordingly. |
