Pak trained terrorists want peace derailed in Jammu
3/8/2019 10:33:37 PM
Pakistan trained terrorists have
rejected Indian Army Chief's warning that if Pakistani troops failed to check ceasefire violations in which civilians on this side of the LoC, were injured or killed India could throw to winds matter of neighbourly concern. And today the terrorists, instead of ceasefire violations, carried out a grenade attack in the crowded bus stand in Jammu in which at least 29 people have been injured, one killed, in a grenade attack in the winter capital of the state., which comes exactly three weeks after the terror attack in Pulwama. All the injured have been hospitalised and five of them are critical, doctors said. This the gift of terrorists, trained by Pakistan, to Army's warning to Pakistan. The police said the grenade was under a bus at a bus stand in the heart of the city. Most of the injured, are bus drivers and conductors. It is unclear if there were people inside the bus It is believed that the grenade probably rolled under a parked bus before it went off around 11.30 a.m,. Visuals from the spot showed security personnel barricading the area as locals rushed in. "I thought it was a tyre burst. It was a big blast. The locals took the injured to the hospital in an ambulance,"
It indicates that India's warning to Pakistan has been taken lightly by Islamabad and the terrorists. Otherwise had Pakistan been interested in promoting friendly ties with India Islamabad would have avoided doing anything on the LoC and inside Jammu. Well the region of Jammu, particularly the city of Jammu had remained peaceful and the grenade attack on the bus seems to have derailed peace in Jammu also. It means that the security forces have to upgrade the security grid in Jammu lest the terrorists should repeat grenade attacks. The police have arrested one terrorist belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen which has claimed responsibility for the attack.
There are indications that Pakistan, to be particular its Army authorities, have ignored the warning of the UN and the US besides some super powers. If Pakistan shows its complete dependence on China it is mistaken because China has already been isolated like that of Pakistan. There are indications that after the JuD has been banned and its terrorists are under the threat of arrests there was a possibility of JuD activists having carried out a grenade attack in Jammu with a view to broaden the incidents of violence. It calls for proactive role by the security forces, especially the Army, under which terrorists and their supporters were either nabbed or killed.
