The United States of
America (USA) always maltreated India since Independence in 1947 and on the contrary, it always supported Pakistan both militarily and financially. It adopted the policy of weakening India and used Pakistan as its tool to weaken and destabilize India. USA never played the role as a good friend of India but on the contrary, it always went against Indian interests as well as it supported Pakistan in INDO-PAK WARS - 1965,1971 and 1999. After the disintegration of Soviet Union (USSR), USA became the Supreme power in this World. Prior to becoming Supreme power the USSR was its main rival. Both these super nuclear powers of the world were having their own lobbies and they remained busy in exploiting them for getting the maximum out of it. This continued for a pretty long time. Since we attained our Independence in 1947, USA always remained at Pakistan's back. Pakistan went on enjoying the support of USA liberally both militarily and financially. Both the countries damaged us to the large extent up to this time. In meeting all the challenges thrown by these countries our hard earned money valuing equal to crores of US Dollars which could have been used by India in removing the poverty from the Country. This a awful and unfortunate part of the story. Had this not be the approach of USA, India could have gone to the very heights in respect of every field and mitigating all the problems due to poverty by this time? No doubt the situation is changed now with the hectic efforts of our PM Modi. Unlike Republicans, Democrat Presidents of USA such as Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson and Harry Truman were friendly with India a little bit. At least, they tried their level best to maintain the good ties with India. But it was Pakistan which convinced the Republican Presidents of USA fully against India from time to time. Many a times, USA used VETO Power in UNO against India in support of our aggressor Pakistan.
From time to time, to neutralize the same our old friend USSR always came to our rescue and saved the situation in UNO and its allied in the past.
Only six years ago, when Narender Modi was to go to USA as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in connection with attending of some important function/ seminar or a conference over there, the USA administration did not allow him to visit USA. He is the same Narender Modi who from that day worked very hard in building very good relations with USA which progressed magnificently under the able and dynamic leadership of the President Barrack Obama and ultimately succeeded in developing extra ordinary ties with USA. Apart from the other matters of mutual interests, he must have discussed with him the issues pertaining to the unwanted ceasefire violations being made by Pakistan every now and then on the international Border (IB) and Line of Control ( LoC) and the intrusions of the terrorists in J&K . Not only this, he too must have discussed all the relevant matters connected with the ongoing Militancy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. On the basis of good ties he developed with USA and its President Donald Trump personally within 5 years tenure as the Prime Minister of India. History reveals that in the past and John F. Kennedy came to India sparing their valuable time from their important assignments and engagements and had attended the REPUBLIC DAY PARADE at New Delhi during the time of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru as the Prime Minister of India. On getting the invitation from Narender Modi Barrack Obama too immediately accepted the invitation given by PM MODI and had attended the REPUBLIC DAY PARADE at new Delhi in 2015. By seeing this closeness between India and USA within a short span after Modi came to power at the Centre, Pakistan felt furious and felt uneasy. By doing so, USA has taken a sudden U - turn towards India thereby discarding Pakistan totally who remained its beggar for all the times in the past and the same time remained extra busy in destabilizing India every now and then.
Narender Modi once quoted that " I am fairly new in this era but relations between countries depends less on full stops and commas and more on the 'Chemistry' between them. Barrack and I have forged a friendship. That a openness we talk. This 'Chemistry ' has Barrack closure to me but also brought the people of India and USA closure. As far as we spoke about USEY PARDE MEIN RAHNE DEIN" (Let that be under wrap). Modi quoted while having a 'CHUTKI' in humour at that time.
OBAMA's
TWO DISTINCTIONS.
1. Barrack Obama was the first US President to visit India twice while remaining in power and
2. He was the first US president who attended the Republic Day Parade function at New Delhi since Independence when India attained freedom from the Britishers
All of a sudden, there is a shift in the USA approach. It has become soft with India - may be because of PM MODI's continuous efforts to develop good ties with USA or may be because of its compulsions to have a good ties with India as compared to its old friend Pakistan in countering China in this sub continent. Good INDO - US ties cause a bit of discomfort among nations bordering India. China's discomfort as was evident from the fact that China had termed the Barrack's second visit to India as SUPERFICIAL ONE. At that time, the print and electronic media throughout the World gave wide coverage of the 2 larger democracies coming together in building their good ties and friendly relations.
Early Times in its editorial dated 28-01-2015 described that India needs to promote cordial relations with USA to counter Islamabad - Beijing nexus and it is hoped that Barrack Obama and Narender Modi would carry forward the mission of building durable relationship between the two sides. Also referred Obama's visit as" But more than the records, what Obama's visit does represent is a dramatic turn around in relations between the 2 countries USA and India that had drifted and lost the way in the recent years. Pakistan went furious and started making the ceasefire violations on a large scale. Having understood the actual problems posed by Indian PM Modi, the USA Administration warned Pakistan to remain within its ambit and it should not harm India in any way. This was made clear to Pakistan by the USA administration. Despite all this conveyed to PAK by USA in an un-equi vocal terms, Pakistan went on making CEASEFIRE VIOLATIONS mindlessly thereby using arms and artillery. This had led to the exhaustive damages to the human lives as also the land and buildings at the IB/LOC and the civilian infrastructures too. When one makes an in depth analysis of the things comes to this conclusion that almost all the US Presidents were against INDIA (except three whose names have been mentioned in the foregoing lines) and they were supporting Pakistan in weakening India which was their main goal. Height of the things is that the United Nations Organisation (UNO) which is the main body for ensuring the love and peace through out the World, cannot go against USA as it is the main fund supporting nation to the UNO. The UNO came into being on 24th October,1945 and at present 198 nations are as its members. India attained the membership of UNO on 30th October, 1945 and Pakistan on 30th September, 1947. The barbaric and gruesome militants attack - car bombing with more than 100 Kgs of the explosives on the National Highway at Lethpora in Pulwama District in the Kashmir valley on February 14 causing the mass killings of the CRPF personnel who were on their way for resuming their duties after availing of the leaves at their respective homes, has jolted the entire nation.
The people all over the country are on the streets and making their strong resentment and making the protests, bandhs centre are feeling helpless as the people of the country want the quick action in attacking Pakistan for teaching it a lesson once for all.
The National Security Advisor of USA John Bolton had a telephonic talk with Indian NSA Ajit Daval on February 16 in connection with the barbaric and gruesome militants attack on the National Highway at Lethpora in Pulwama District in Kashmir valley on February 14 killing therein more than 49 CRPF personnel on spot. USA-NSA had condemned the same and extended the full support to Indian authorities in eliminating the Pakistani terrorists. Not only this, more the 70 countries of the World so for have also condemned the militants attack and shown their solidarity to the Indians and supported the Indian cause on this score. The Pakistan government is playing the double game at the moment as it is showing to the entire World that it is a peace living nation and is intending to improve its ties with India through a constructive dialogue over the Kashmir issue on one side and on the other side, it is promoting the terrorists organizations - JeM and Hizabul Mujahidin for the making the violence in Kashmir valley. At the same time it is making the intrusions of the Pak militants in the valley via LoC/IB for destabilizing India resulting which Kashmir is on fire these days and our country is at ransom. Pakistan is taking very lightly of all the steps being taken by India against it. Pakistan does not bother much about the entire World including the Supreme body on the Globe - United nations Organisation (UNO) It is taking the World for granted always. It is pertinent to mention that the President of USA Donald Trump has given the hint many a times in the past on this score. The UNO has also resolved the Pakistan should take the necessary measures in curbing the activities of the JeM led by Maulana Masood Azhar on its land against the Integrity and the Sovereignty of India. It is painful that Pakistan has not taken the lesson from the outcome of the very recent Air Surgical Strikes in Balakote in which more than 350 terrorists, trainers and commanders have been killed besides two brothers and Brother In Law of JEM Chief Massod Azhar and the training camps have been destroyed fully.
The USA administration had earlier imposed the 'Sanctions' on Pakistan and stopped all liberal funding and the military aids but subsequently these sanctions were revoked and again gave the free hand to Pakistan to do all this non sence against India. The Security Council of UNO failed to decide upon the proposal moved by the four Security Council members for applying the curbs on the terrorists activities being carried out by Pakistan as also declaring the JeM Chief Masood Azhar as a Global Terroristas the China has vetoed the said proposal three days back only. India these days under the leadership of the dynamic Prime Minister Narender Modi will certainly succeed on this score as during his short tenure of five years as the Prime Minister of the country has built the very good relations with all the super powers of the World. During the Modi's rule, every thing is MUMKIN and nothing is NAA MUMKIN. He dams care for the Pakistan being the nuclear power. The Presidents of USA and USSR are very much on his back and call.
Pakistan has become totally isolated from rest of the World as the entire World is quite busy in making the remarkable progress and development. The experts feel that if the USA can eliminate the Al Qaida Chief Osama bin Laden on the Pakistan soil within minutes and then why India cannot?
Our Finance Minister Arun Jaitley a few days had given the hint in this regard also. The Indian government must think on these lines and do the strike in the Pakistan territory to eliminate the JeM Chief Masood Azhar. Presently Pakistan is very much under pressure, India should act promptly on this score.
Let's pray to the almighty to give enough strength to PM Modi in bringing more improvement further to the recently built INDO-USA and USSR friendship in the days to come.
