| Influential Agri officers get choicest posting | | Two officers get modified order within days | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: In a glaring example of favouritism, two Sub-divisional level Agriculture Officers who were transferred at Samba and Marwah and gets modified transfer order through their influence, within days from their transfer order.
As per the details available with Early Times, Principal Secretary to Government of Agriculture Production Department has published a transfer order with wide order number 61- Agri of 2019 dated 01-03-2019 wherein 18 Sub divisional level officers have been transferred and offered new place of posting but two influential officers at serial numbers 2 and 17.
First they denied to join new place of posting and thereafter gets modification at its choicest place of posting with close proximity to power corridor.
Sources informed that at serial number 2, Davinder Sharma of above mentioned order who was transferred from Kathua as District Agriculture Officer to Incharge SMS II Samba but he denied to join, thereafter by using his influence, the officer get modification of transfer order and get new place of posting as Incharge Mushroom Development Officer Doda within few days from his prior place of posting.
Whereas in transfer order, one more influential officer at serial number 17 namely Rajinder Singh Jamwal who was transferred from Marh Sub Division to Incharge Sub District Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Marwah of Kisthwar district earlier order but he has also denied to join as SDAO Marwah and thereafter he was attached to Director Agriculture Office Jammu. After few days, he once again gets modification within days and managed its posting at SMF Chinore Form Jammu.
Sources further said that the department official has devised new modes operandi with the active coordination of higher officials, first they transfer from present place of posting to far flung posting in papers only, and thereafter they gets modification for choicest place of posting while those who has not proximity with power corridor were deputed in far flung areas since last many years. |
