2 Kashmir based persons returning from Pakistan detained at Lakhanpur

Jammu, Mar 23: Last night Kathua police arrested two Kashmir based persons from Lakhanpur when they were travelling in a bus and were returning from Pakistan and sent to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) for further questioning. Police sources said that the intelligence agencies informed Kathua police that two persons hailing from Kashmir went to Pakistan on Visa for one month and after expiry of their visa they extended one more month time period of the visa and last night they were travelling to Kashmir via bus. According to the information after getting the information from intelligence agencies about the same, a special naka was raised at Lakhanpur and checking of vehicle was stared. "During checking the duo was detained from a bus and were taken to police station Lakhnapur for questioning," said police sources adding that today in the morning they were sent to JIC for further investigation.
