| JKSSSS discusses arrangements for Machail Yatra | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 7: J&K Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha discussed the steps being taken by the Sanstha for the convenience of devotees of Mata Chandi drawn from all parts & state of the country in press conference held at Jammu. Nek Ram Mannas President of the Sanstha dwelt at length about the preparedness of the arrangements being made by the Sanstha for the year 2019. He said that holy Machail yatra for the year 2019 shall be celebrated and managed as usual and that nothing will come in its way at any cost and that district administration Kishtwar has been a lending its cooperative and helping hand in respect of all departments in the interest of smooth run of nationally famed holy yatra which is famous next to Baba Amarnath Yatra Ji. Regarding grant of Shrine Board Status to Holy Shrine Machail, the Sanstha president said that we have been pressing hard for last about ten years and for this various requests have been made to the Governor and the governments of the time but sadly every authority has turned a deaf ear. He said that a private members bill stood passed in Upper House moved by MLC Shri Naresh Gupta, and when it came to tabling the same in Assembly in budget session 2017, the Erstwhile BJP/PDP combine Government badly failed to support to bill for the reasons beyond our wisdom which is a matter of great concern of all devotees of Mata Chandi Machail. |
