Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 7: In its endeavour to sensitise the masses with the relevant theatre, Natrang stages 'Sabse Bada Aadmi' written by Bhagwati Charan Verma and directed by Neeraj Kant in it Sunday Theatre Series at its Studio.
Because of the subtle unfolding of the events, it captured the attention of the audience who apparently enjoyed the performance. At the very outset, Natrang Director informed the august gathering that Natrang is going to start a fresher's workshop starting from Monday, 8th of April, 2019 at 2 pm, interested may come and join this life time opportunity. The workshop will be conducted by Neeraj Kant and Abhishek Bharti and being coordinated by Mohd. Yaseen.
The play opens at a restaurant where different people have gathered to have tea. They have their own opinions about their role models and also have their strong submissions that who is the biggest person of the world. Where one person has a firm view that 'Napoleon' was the strongest and no doubt the biggest man of the world the other person contradicts that It was 'Shelly' who was much above the others as he gave the world a new dimension by his poetry. Suddenly they both were contradicted by another person for whom the only biggest person in the world is 'Mahatma Gandhi' who has enlightened the world by his ideology of peace and non-violence. But yet another person was the staunch follower of' Lenin' who rejects the supremacy of anyone but just his hero. Their debate soon takes the shape of the altercation, a little less than fight but a new person enters the restaurant and diffuses the situation. He was with everyone yet with no one.
He praised all the discussed legends differently without offending the critics.
He spoke very well but the discussion reaches nowhere. At last he announces that indeed he is the biggest man of the world which all of them will agree once he leaves. Everyone mocks at him for his self praise and he leaves unnoticed but to the surprise of all, that person was a crook who had cut the pockets of all and made them look stupid in their own eyes.
The actors of the play included Abhinav Sharma, Sushant Singh Charak, Udit Sagar, Bhrigu Sharma, Chahat Katyal, Gopi Sharma and Kuldeep Angral. Neeraj Kant rendered the lights and the music was scored by Aarti Devi. Manoj Kumar Lalotra presented the show before the audience and the show was coordinated by Mohd. Yaseen.
