5 day religious programe to held at Hunuman Temple

JAMMU, Apr 7: A five days religious programs is being organized by the Parbandhak Committee of ancient Hanuman Temple, Sabzi Mandi, Moti Bazar, to celebrate Lord Hanuman Jayanti with religious fervor and gaiety.
Addressing media persons, spokesman of the committee, Rajiv Gupta told media persons that the religious program will commence on April 17 with Ramayan Path at 10 am, which will conclude April 18 with the performance of Aarati. "Bhajan Sandhya will be organized on April 19 in premises of Dogra Brahmin Sabha, Parade Ground, Jammu from 8 pm onwards in which several renowned singers including Anita Sharma will perform", he added.
While speaking on the occasion, B S Jamwal, Subash Shastri, Kamal Sharma, Junior Priest, Asisih Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Naresh Gupta and Vinod Gupta said that a 101 kilogram Vishal Laddu will be the special attraction of the event.
"On the same day of Hanuman Jayanti, Purna Ahuti will be performed April 19 at 10 am, after conclusion of 5 days religious function followed by Vishal Bhandara on 21st of April, 2019 in the premises of the temple at 12.00 noon onwards", they added.
The committee appealed the people of the State from different walks of life to participate in large numbers to seek blessings of Lord Hanuman Ji.
The Committee also urged the local administration to provide necessary logistics like security, cleanliness, drinking water and uninterrupted power supply.
