JCCI alleges corrupt officers working against SSI units

Jammu, Apr 22: Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Rakesh Gupta has sent a communication to Governor alleging corrupt Babus resorting to unabated corruption and working against Micro Small Medium Enterprises.
He also alleged that they have been taking the "Saubhagya Scheme" an initiative of Prime Minister non-seriously. The copies of the said communication were also sent to Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to Hon'ble Prime Minister and Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary Union Power Ministry for Inf. "PDD is not dispersing payment to our MSME units who are members of JCCI against the supply of various items like, Steel Tubular Poles, Power Transformers, Power cables and Power transmission conductors to the Power Development Department in the Central "Sponsored Saubhagya Scheme in J&K" from the month of September 2018.
"You would be surprised to know that our MSME units till now have not received their due payments for the materials supplied to P.D.D from the month of September 2018 for the reasons best known to the department", the communication reads, adding that you could imagine the plight of MSME units who have borrowed loans for various bank and financial institutions for the success of the Saubhagya Scheme.
