4/22/2019 10:28:44 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 22: Former Minister and President DCC Kathua Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today said termination of NHM employees by the government who were striking since long for fulfillment of their demands is totally unjustified and requested the government to revoke the termination orders of NHM employees on immediate basis. Dr Sharma said that instead of solving the issues of employees who are on a peaceful agitation for pressing their genuine demands, the government behaved in "dictatorial" way by terminating the employees. Also he said in many parts of State, health centers had been closed down due to non-availability of staff and healthcare has suffered a jolt due non-available NHM employees, who form the only healthcare staff pool in many areas.
Dr Sharma further appealed to the honorable Governor, Satya Pal Malik to intervene in the matter and issue necessary directions to the concerned for fulfilling all genuine demands of NHM employees which include revoking termination orders ,regularization, removal of pay anomaly and service benefits to employees working with the Mission.
