DDC evaluates working of educational institutions

DODA, May 11: To take stock of the working of Education sector, Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of Education Department.
The meeting was apprised of the present scenario of the education sector and the existing malfunctions within the department. To cope up with such issues, the DDC devised a new strategy of standardized grading of schools that can extract best out of every educational institution and facilitate monitoring of their performance from time to time.
The DDC Doda underpinned the importance of categorical utilisation of the available resources so that students do not suffer due the scarcity of the basic minimum facilities. He stressed on making the institutions like second home for students in reality.
Apart from these grassroots level issues, the DDC also highlighted the importance of managing overall aesthetics of the educational institutions.
Special stress was laid out on the proper conduct of extra co-curricular activities and optimum utilization of resources so that the structures can be beautified inside out.
The distribution of pending uniforms and delayed construction of new structures were also discussed at the meeting.
