Aged woman injured in attack over land dispute

JAMMU, May 11: An aged woman, who was sleeping at home, attacked by an unknown person with rod and got some serious injuries on Saturday evening.
As per police, a lady name Dhano Devi wife of Nathu Ram resident of Allah Sector Arnia was injured in attack by an unknown person over land dispute while she was sleeping at her home. Later she was found lying in a pool of blood. After getting information, a police party rushed to spot and shifted her to Primary Health Centre Bishanh where doctors after seeing her condition referred to Government Medical College Jammu. She is under treatment and her condition was not in good condition when last reports came in. Sub Inspector Arnia Bansi Lal said that accused has not been identified so far because injured in not that condition to give a statement to police. Police is waiting for her recovery as soon as so police can register a case in this regard and action would be taken against accused.
