Jammu, May 11: Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members today staged a protest demonstration outside Jammu University against the result of JK Bank for the post of probationary officers, declared by IBSP.
They alleged discrimination with the students of Jammu Division and Ladakh Division.
The protesters said that on notification it was not mentioned that the cut-off list would be declared on district wise merit based. Jammu Kashmir Bank PO post is state cadre post and how they declared the result on district cadre based, which is totally unjustified and smacks of something fishy, the protesters alleged.
The applicants are demanding that the result to be declared by IBPS, which has conducted the examination. They appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to take matter in their consideration. |
