| Missing lady, teenage girl traced | | |
Rajouri, May 25: Police traced a lady and a teenage girl who were missing from their houses for the last few days.
In a case regarding missing of lady, a missing report was lodged by her husband five days ago in which he reported before the police that his wife has gone missing from home.
On the basis of the complaint, a missing report was registered and the investigation was started while with the help of her family members, she was recovered on Friday evening and later handed over to her family members after completion of legal formalities. Case was investigated by a team of police headed by SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma under the supervision of Addl SP Nowshera GL Sharma.
Similarly, a 19 years old girl from Lamberi was also reported missing from her house under mysterious circumstances on Thursday after which a missing report was registered in Lamberi police post of Nowshera police station.
Investigation of the matter was started by police team headed by Incharge PP Lamberi, SI Mehmood Khan under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma and Addl SP Nowshera GL Sharma during which some leads were developed.
On Friday, based on specific inputs, the said girl was recovered from a passenger vehicle while she was on her way to Kashmir valley via Mughal Road. After completing legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to her family.
