Samba, May 28: The students of The Pathseekers International School, Ramgarh participated in the Inter Zone Level District Tournament held at Samba for the schools of District Samba.
Three students of the school, Mannat Kour bagged Bronze medal in (100 Mts) Ramandeep Singh bagged Bronze Medal in shortput (under 17) and Amritpal Singh got Silver Medal in Long Jump under (17).
Girl team of The Pathseekers outshone all the participating teams of the District and won the Volley Ball Tournament by defeating the Parmandal Zone in straight sets. Five students of The Pathseekers, Kulwinder Kour, Harmanpreet Kour, Sawani Devi, Neetu kour and Mannat kour were among the first six active players of the Samba Zone. They were awarded the winners Trophy by the Director, Youth Services sports, Samba.
R.S.Panwar Principal, The Pathseekers International School congratulated the boys and girls for their outstanding performance in the school Assembly. He emphasized that Sports activities boosts the morale of the students and improves their personality. He also appreciated the efforts of the Management for extending all out help for providing facilities in the School Campus for the overall growth of students in all the fields.
S. Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar, Director of the School also blessed the students on this occasion and appreciated the efforts of Sports teacher Satpal Sharma. |
