POONCH, July 8: Time and again villagers of phagla in Surankote of poonch district demanded electricity restoration in the village which is defunct since a week. Electric wires are tied with live trees which poses a grave threat to the lives of the people particularly in rainy days.
It is pertinent to mention here that concerned department has already been repeatedly requested to settle the issue but nothing concrete has happened in this regard yet.
Residents of the village today warned to go on protest along with their school going children whose education is at stake if electricity is no restored in the area with in two days.
Protestants includes Mohamed yousaf shah, Mohamed Farooq, Mehmood Shah,Faiz Ahmed, Shoket Hussain, Liyaqt Hussain, Mohamed Ishaq, Mohd Bashir Mohamed Azam and others. |
